$1,000. Generally, the traditional IRA is more beneficial if you are eligible to
make pre-tax contributions and you expect the tax rate to be lower when you retire.
On the other hand, a Roth IRA may be more beneficial if you expect the tax rate when
you retire to be about the same or higher than today's tax rate.
